Cake! by Chloe are Wedding and Celebration Cake designers based in the stunning market towns of Henley-on-Thames and Stow-on-the-Wold. Founded at the beginning of 2011 by Chloe Hill-Thomas. Chloe wanted to make sure her business stood for everything she loves and believes in, so only the freshest, finest, friendliest ingredients go into a Cake! by Chloe creation.
Well what can we say. Christine is the one who keeps the Cake! cogs turning and can literally turn her hand to anything in our super little business! When we are manic with cakes she gets stuck in but is also a whizz with a spreadsheet. Christine’s work and family mean the world to her and that’s why she is such a great member of the Cake! team!
Chloe has been baking, entering and winning cooking competitions since she first started secondary school and her love of food (especially cake) gave her the idea to start Cake! by Chloe at the beginning of 2011. In 2012 Chloe won a bake-off on Eric Lanlard’s ‘Baking Mad’ TV programme aired on Channel 4, where she was highly congratulated by Eric himself, since then Cake! just keeps getting bigger and better. Chloe now spends most of her time designing cakes for our brides & celebrity clients, baking and decorating (of course), filming tutorials for you lovely folk, LOTS of admin being a mummy and raising Cake!’s profile! Chloe has also now expanded Cake! to Stow-on-the-Wold, which is pretty big and exciting stuff
Here at Cake! we are very lucky to be able to call the very talented Verity our Head Baker & Decorator – Henley-on-Thames. Verity has several years experience under her belt and attended many professional baking and cake decorating courses. Verity is a total perfectionist and our clients LOVE her work. Nothing leaves the cake studio unless she is 100% happy with it! Not only does Verity love all things cakey, she is also a pretty amazing mum to her beautiful little daughter. When you order a cake from Cake! (excuse the pun) Verity will no doubt be using her magical talents to make your cake (and day) just that little bit extra special…
